Our Spring term runs from Monday 6th January to Friday 4th April. Half-term is Monday 17th February to Friday 21st February. Monday 24th February is an INSET day. Paper copies of information from our website are available free of charge.

Prayer & Worship

At St John's, pupils have an active prayer and Worship life. Prayer and Worship is on a daily basis as follows:
 
  • Monday - whole school Celebration of the World led by Mrs Armstrong;
  • Tuesday - class worship and whole school sing and praise;
  • Wednesday - class worship;
  • Thursday - pupil led whole school Celebration of the Word;
  • Friday - class or whole school worship;
  • Daily - morning, lunch and home-time prayers.
Parents and members of the parish community are invited to attend our Thursday pupil led Celebrations of the Word.

Other celebrations and liturgies are held throughout the year such as our EYFS/KS1 nativity and KS2 Carol service at the end of the Autumn term. The annual Harvest Mass held in St John's church, the May Procession held in St John's church and many other celebrations, both school and church based.

On Thursday 5th June 2025, the school and St John's church are honoured to be hosting the annual Catholic Children's Society Plymouth Mass.
